I don’t remember every little detail about it, but the parts that stuck with me were good. The gear felt solid, worked the way I needed it to, and didn’t give me any trouble that I can recall. Nice overall.

I felt safe the whole time, no question about it. The medical tents were super easy to spot, which was really reassuring. Thanks for having that so well organized.

I ran the LA Marathon and had a good experience overall. The race itself was solid and well worth doing. The only thing that felt a little hit or miss was the communication from lamarathon.com. Some emails had the info I needed, but details like pickup times and road closures took more digging than I expected. It wasn’t a huge issue, just could’ve been a bit more straightforward. I’d love to see updates be more direct and easier to find before race weekend.

My chip time and final results looked right, and I didn’t notice any weird gaps or missing splits. I checked everything again later and it still matched what I expected. that kind of accuracy matters a lot to me, and if the timing ever started getting messy or unreliable, I’d probably look elsewhere...

I can’t say I didn’t feel like the price was fair for what you get. i don’t have no complaints about it

A few weeks before race day, I went on LA Marathon looking for accessibility info and did eventually find what I needed, but it took more clicking around than I expected. The accommodations sounded useful once I got to them, but some of the details weren’t super clear. By the time race week came around, I still felt like I had to double-check a few things. It would be much better if everything was easier to find earlier on, especially for people trying to plan ahead.

I ran the LA Marathon and I hate to say it, but the aid stations really took away from the whole experience. At a couple of them, there weren’t even cups ready, the water was warm, and the volunteers seemed like they weren’t sure where anything was supposed to be.
Later in the race, when I actually needed gels or electrolytes, they were either gone or nobody seemed to know what was available. I got told “next station” more than once, which is frustrating when you’re deep into a marathon and counting on that support.

I trained for months and paid a lot to be there, so I left feeling like I wasted my money. For a race this big, the basics should be handled. I really wish I’d picked a different marathon and I don’t see myself doing LA again.

The tracking mostly worked, so I’ll give it that, but the alerts would show up late sometimes, which was really frustrating. I felt like I was the one left dealing with the consequences when the app didn’t keep up. It’s okay overall, just kind of buggy in a way that made me feel let down.

The route was really fun, and the views kept me going the whole time. Like I said, it was a fun route, and like I said, those views made it totally worth it.

I was a little worried about finding a restroom when I needed one, but they were really easy to spot. There were plenty available, and I barely had to wait at all, which made the visit feel a lot less stressful.

I ran the LA Marathon this year, and the crowd support was really solid. There were people cheering all over, funny signs, snacks, music, the whole thing. It made a bigger difference than I expected, especially near the end when I was completely wiped. Definitely helped me keep going

When I signed up to run the LA Marathon with a charity team, I thought the fundraising part might be harder than the race training. But setting up my page was super easy, and I was able to start sharing it quickly. At one point I had a question and expected to wait around for an answer, but someone got back to me really fast. That made a big difference. Between the long runs, race prep, and trying to hit my fundraising goal, it was nice to have support that actually helped instead of adding more stress.

There were plenty of security people and staff around the whole time, so I felt safe walking in and out and just getting around without worrying, it was a really smooth day for me overall

I went to the LA Marathon expo to pick up my packet, it was way easier than I expected. The lines moved quickly, the volunteers were super helpful about pointing everyone in the right direction, and I had my bib and shirt in maybe 10 minutes. The expo itself was fun to wander around too, and it wasn’t too packed when I went. Good signage, simple process, and no pre-race stress, which I definitely appreciated.

The shuttles actually worked well for the most part, so I can’t complain too much there. If anything was a little confusing or delayed, I’d blame whoever runs this, but the shuttle service itself was solid.

Am I the only one who was really excited to check out their race pics, only to feel kind of let down? A lot of mine were blurry or somehow missed me at the key moments. I get that race photography is tough, but the prices felt steep for what I ended up with. i was expecting better.

Got dropped off and found my corral quick. There were plenty of signs and volunteers around, so it wasn’t no stressful mess like I thought it might be. it was way smoother than I expected.
